About Catie Gett
Author Catie Gett is a successful Naturopath, with ten-years of clinical practice behind her. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science, she has established her practice and opened the much-celebrated nominal-waste wholefood shop, The Staple Store in Ripponlea, Melbourne.
Over the last ten-years, she has delivered dozens of sold out lectures and workshops and contributed to The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, Marie Claire, The Design Files, MPavillion, The Holistic Ingredient and many more. She has developed an organic following of 60,000+ followers across Instagram and Facebook. And she is raising a beautiful little daughter Scout.
Catie takes four things very seriously; being a mama, health promotion & education, feminism and the environment. She employs an accessible writing approach designed to reach a wide range of demographics, via a number of platforms. She is passionate about educating people regarding wellness, preventative health, integrative medicine and ‘food as medicine’. As an environmentalist, she is passionate about wholefood eating, reduced waste foods, local provenance and organic agriculture.
She has crowd funded and self published her first book, the women’s health initiative ‘Notes To My Future Daughter’ which consolidates her expertise in women's health and nutrition. Following it's success Catie has released the companion book 'NotesTo My Future Son' addressing the mental health pandemic facing men today.
In response to Pandemic lock downs in Australia Catie wrote + published 'Future Love Notes' and 'You + Me'. To address loneliness + connection.
Catie lives in Melbourne with her daughter Scout, a pile of laundry, a half-eaten piece of cold buttered toast, an enviable muesli collection and her well-loved MacBook Air.
